Monday afternoon, 1.30pm to 4.30pm
Tuesday morning, 10am to 1pm
NEW for September 2026 – Wednesday morning class (from 10am to 1pm). Limited to 4 spaces.

Classes run for monthly blocks. If the calendar month has 5 Mondays then the block is 5 weeks long.
You pay for and commit to all the sessions listed each month.
I do not offer a “drop in” format for my weekly classes. Please take a look at my single class workshops if you cannot commit to an entire month, to see if there’s something there that suits you better.
This weekly format is perfect for complete beginners or those returning to sewing after a long break. In a small, supportive group, you will move from machine-shy to project-proud, mastering the essentials while enjoying cuppas, biscuits, and good company.
Class format
We start with three fully supported projects – a tote bag, either a cushion cover or kindle case that uses buttonholes, and a zipped pencil case. Most of the materials for these three projects will be provided within your class fees. These projects are designed to build skills and confidence, and you will be able to work at your own pace, without the stress of deadlines. You may complete a project every week, or you may take a two or three sessions to do each one. We all learn at our own pace and nobody wins a prize for being fast. The aim is to learn, at whatever pace suits you.
Where you go next is entirely up to you! Whether you’re dreaming of stitching adorable children’s clothing, creating a bespoke wardrobe for yourself, or crafting beautiful items for your home, we are here to support you.
In later sessions, your personal style takes centre stage. You will be encouraged and supported to tackle the projects that excite you most, at a pace that feels just right for you. From mastering the art of understanding and using dressmaking patterns to perfecting those small, handmade finishing touches for your living space, we’ll provide the guidance you need to bring your creative visions to life whilst encouraging your development and confidence in your own ability to work independently.
What to Bring
To get the most out of your time, please bring your full sewing kit (fabric scissors, pins, seam ripper, tape measure, hand sewing needles, pencil and notepad, all your sewing machine bits and pieces including spare bottom bobbins and a few full spools of sewing thread). We’ll provide the fabric for your first few projects, to get you started. As you progress to more personal creations, you’ll have the freedom to choose and purchase your own fabrics, patterns and haberdashery.
Your Machine or Ours?
While we have basic studio machines available for your use, we strongly recommend bringing your own sewing machine. Learning on the machine you’ll use at home is the best way to build confidence and feel completely comfortable with it. If you bring yours, please remember ALL the gubbins – cables, accessories, spare bobbins, and the manual, as well as a supply of new machine needles in various sizes, spools of thread and all your different presser feet. Your machine should be in good working order, so if it needs a service, please ensure this is done prior to classes beginning. I can’t help you with repairing machines so please get it working first before joining class.
Payment and holiday arrangements:
Keep your sewing journey going with our flexible, small-group sessions.. Here is how our style of block classes works:
- Your Permanent Spot: Once you join, your space is secure, as long as you pay for it.
- Simple Monthly Payments: To keep things easy, we bill every month, in advance, at a rate of £30 per session. Months with 4 sessions will cost £120, months with 5 will cost £150. Simple!
- Holiday Flexibility: If you have a trip planned but want us to hold your spot, you will not be allowed to purchase the block but can instead opt for our Seat-Saver rate. Instead of your usual monthly fee, you will pay £36 per session for the dates that you actually will attend class. Let us know ahead of time which dates you will be able to come to class, so we can adjust your invoice correctly. You will be invoiced at the same time as everyone else, and will need to pay the £36 per class in advance, as normal.
- Extended Breaks: To keep our tiny classes thriving, we will only hold spots for short absences such as holidays. If you need to step away for more than a couple of weeks, we reserve the right to release the free space to those on our waiting list.

Class Terms and Conditions can be viewed – please check out the appropriate page.
