This one-day course guides you through the technical and creative process of constructing a pleated roman blind. Held in our bright studio in Low Valleyfield, the workshop covers essential professional skills, including precise window and fabric measurements, pleat placement, and compliance with UK safety legislation.
Participants will complete a sample blind using the premium fabrics and hardware provided. This course is ideal for those with basic sewing proficiency looking to elevate their interior design skills. No machine instruction is covered in this class.
What to bring with you:
- Your Sewing Kit: Including fabric scissors, pins and a full reel of white all-purpose thread.
- Your sewing machine: including all accessories, cables and spare size 80 and 90 sewing machine needles. If you can’t bring your own machine, please let me know in advance.
- Lunch: Please bring a packed lunch that doesn’t require refrigeration or reheating.
