What You’ll Learn
- Foundation Skills: Master the essentials of sewing for home decor.
- Piping Mastery: Learn to create and attach bias-cut fabric piping for that classic tailored look.
- Zip Insertion: Gain the confidence to sew a secure zip into the knife edge of your cushion cover.
Included in your booking:
- Cotton piping cord and a high-quality square synthetic cushion pad.
- Complimentary hot drinks and light refreshments to keep you fueled.
What to bring with you:
- Your Sewing Kit: Including fabric scissors, an adjustable zip foot if you’re bring your own sewing machine, and matching all-purpose thread.
- Your sewing machine: please bring all cords, manuals, spare bobbins and needles (size 80 and 90)
- Fabric: 0.5m of 137cm wide fabric for your main cushion and an additional 0.5m for your piping.
- Zip: A matching standard dress zip (at least 40cm long).
- Lunch: Please bring a packed lunch that doesn’t require refrigeration or reheating.
