This is a stand-alone class that may well get you hooked on the simple yet addictive craft of crochet. Complete beginners (age 16 plus) are very welcome. Young people below the age of 18 should have a participating parent or guardian with them.
We start with the basics, learning how to crochet a simple chain stitch. We then learn how to make other stitches to create a traditional Granny Square. After a short break for lunch, we will explore different stitches to make pretty little crochet hearts.
Your class fee includes a starter pack with a variety of acrylic yarn colours and a 4mm crochet hook.
Light refreshments and hot drinks will be available, but please bring a packed lunch with you.
