Bluebell Design was launched as a company in early 2006, and I now have a loyal and diverse client base. All kind of creative work is undertaken,
focusing on individual design, exquisite detail with hand embroidery and beadwork and, of course, exemplary fit.

Most projects are unique, allowing me to create a beautiful garment for a specific client, occassion and location. The fabrics I use range from delicate
laces and silks,to boiled wools and tweeds. Embroidery can be designed specifically for you and your garment and multiple techniques can be incorporated.

I can make your wedding gown, but am also able to make you a simple and classic pair of trousers, that fit beautifully and will be worn for years to come.
All work is undertaken in my studio - I do not send anything to outworkers and do everything myself.

As well as clothing, Bluebell Design makes various soft furnishing items including curtains, roman blinds and cushion covers. I'm prepared to consider
most projects, and always enjoy learning new skills and techniques when they are required.

Past projects range from several bespoke wedding dresses, the restoration of a Victorian beaded and tapestry footstool, to making an old and tattered silk lampshade look like new with brand new silk and a stunning crystal beaded trim. I'm happy to work with fabric you supply yourself, on condition that there is enough of it and that it is suitable for the purpose.

Bluebell Design's studio is in the heart of the village of Limekilns. There is ample free parking locally. My studio is upstairs, so if you find stairs awkward
please let me know when you book an appointment and I'll make another area of the house available for our consultation / fittings.
